“One of the finest and oldest Tenerife Restaurants, Clarets in Chayofa, have unfortunately had to close their doors recently. Craig and Jackie are certainly more than sad to see their long association with such a prestigious restaurant in Tenerife end its days with them and Tenerife and its diners are definitely going to miss this quaint and delightful place”.

Hi Craig, I’m sorry to hear that Clarets has closed down. Who will we give our gift vouchers to now?? Good luck with everything in the future!
Hi Craig and Jackie,
Remember me! I was sad to learn that the doors at Clarets have closed we have had many nice meals and a few very lively Christmas parties with you and your family and we wish you well in your new venture wherever it may be. You can’t keep a good milkman down and you certainly can’t shut him up!!!!
Best wishes

Sorry to hear the news. We all will miss our No1 restaurant in Tenerife. Where is the big guy ( Lamin ) going to be able to get his Clarets’ lamb now?
Best wishes .

How long has it been shut, beverly hills was closed a long time ago, guess selling milk aint the most important thing to know.

Have recently seen craig working on golf del sur, at santa barbara, near winter gardens, next door to agua marina, i wonder how jackie is doin?
Was sad to see Clarets close but I can confirm that Bar Cantabria are up & running (they have moved from the small bar on Chayofa). Pedro is very welcoming, friendly and hard working though he doesnt speak much English. We’re not talking English cuisine but Jamie works her butt off in the kitchen and is forever smiling. I wish them all the best. they deserve it. Jackie & Craig, where ever you are, good luck too.
Why has it closed?
