The event is being held for the first time in Spain and has attracted over one hundred German professionals plus around 200 local tourism businesses.
Tenerife will host from 7 to 10 April 20011 “Destination Meets online”, an event that brings to the island managers from one hundred leading tour operators, travel agencies, airlines and online travel portals from Germany. It is the first time this event takes place in Spain and it will allow about 200 local tourism businesses to contact some of the top European companies and industry leaders in Internet marketing and sales.
This important conference, coordinated by Tenerife’s Tourist Board, will be held at the Iberostar Anthelia Hotel, Costa Adeje, and will help the island to improve its online positioning and use of internet marketing as well as being an outstanding opportunity for training the island’s tourism sector and finding about the latest trends of the main players on the Internet field.
Leading companies in Germany, including Air Berlin, Holiday Travel Tainment or Holiday Check, will participate in the event, which cover topics such as new trends in online marketing and mobile services in leisure travel. “Meets Online Destination” has its own website where you can find more information about the event: www.destinationmeetsonline.com
