Golf Las Americas is closed for two months to allow for all of the greens to be re-done.  The 18-hole Golf Course is having a facelift for its greens and looks set to be even more popular once the work has been completed.

A new Ebay style website has just been launched called SupaSwap . The site looks great and is aimed at  kids between the ages of 8-18, who would be interested in buying, selling or swapping items, so if you´ve got kids in that age bracket let them know about SupaSwap. They can also follow SupaSwap on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook.

John’s first response was to pitch in and help clearing some of the rocks. With much confusion surrounding the tragedy, Tenerife Magazine was able to present the facts as soon as possible. The photos were put on the Flickr account and made available for any media outlets to use free of charge, the account got a staggering 4,380 hits just on that day.

The start of the 3rd Tenerife and La Gomera Golf Circuit for 2009 was held on Saturday, 30 May at  Golf Las Americas. In the mens category, the winner was Vicente Ruiz Toledo with 39 points and in the the ladies category, the winner was Marta Ascanio Arroyo with 37 points. Well done to them both and to all the other winners and competitors who took part.
